Bergman Supports Bipartisan PACT Act, Supporting Our Veterans

This week, Rep. Bergman voted for and achieved House passage of the bipartisan H.R. 3967, Honoring our PACT Act. Toxic exposure is perhaps the most urgent issue facing our military community. Veterans across the Nation have been forced to jump through hoops just to get the treatment and recognition at the VA they need to survive burn pits, agent orange, and other exposures.
With agreement from over 40 Veterans Service Organizations, the PACT Act provides a comprehensive slate of care and benefits to Veterans exposed to toxic substances. While the bill itself will need further work in the Senate, solutions must be brought forward to save the lives of those who risked everything for our freedom and liberty. |
