Bergman Statement on Proposed GLRI Cuts

Rep. Jack Bergman issued the following statement after President Trump's FY2020 budget proposed cuts to Great Lakes Restoration Initiative funding:
"I look forward to digging into the President’s budget when the full plan is released. I’m encouraged by the topline numbers as they bring fiscal responsibility to the forefront of the national conversation. “When it comes to successful programs like the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, I’ll continue working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to ensure full funding for FY2020.” |
