New VA Facility Coming to Traverse City

Washington - Congressman Jack Bergman, Chairman of the VA Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, released the following statement following the announcement of the new VA facility in Traverse City:
"For years bureaucratic red tape within the VA has slowed and halted many important priorities to better serve our Veterans, and building the new Traverse City VA facility has been no exception. I applaud the current Administration for finally prioritizing this facility and moving the project forward for our northern Michigan Veterans," said Bergman. The new 22,000 square foot facility will be located at 701 U.S. 31 South. The facility will allow the VA to continue offering primary care services to our Veteran's in the Grand Traverse area, as well as add new services such as physical therapy, home-based primary care services and mental health services. |
