Yesterday, Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), announced that Representative Jack Bergman will be the Chair of the HASC Subcommittee on Readiness.

Rep. Bergman will be one of seven Subcommittee Chairs for the Armed Services Committee, helping to lead the committee in advancing critical legislation to boost our military’s readiness.

“It’s my honor to serve as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Readiness. Our men and women in uniform must have every tool and ounce of support available to them to carry out their crucial missions around our Nation and world. I have always prioritized lethality over wokeism and DEI in our military – and that’s what I intend to focus on in this new capacity. To ensure peace through strength, the role of readiness cannot be overstated. It is critical to putting America first in the years to come," Rep. Bergman stated.
