Today, Rep. Jack Bergman was sworn in to office for his 5th term in Congress. Following his official swearing in, Rep. Bergman issued the following statement:

“I’m deeply honored to once again have the opportunity to represent the most resilient people in our country, the people of Michigan’s First District. While the Republican majority in Congress is slim, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to affect change and right the ship of our country. 

“We are at an inflection point in America. We’ve got deadly terrorist attacks, soaring inflation, an unhinged Washington spending addiction, and our border is a total disaster. The people have spoken clearly that they are ready for change - in fact, they demanded it. I look forward to working with President Trump, and my colleagues - hopefully from both sides of the aisle - to deliver change and get our country back on the right track."
