Bergman Announces 2024 Congressional App Challenge

Each year, the Office of Rep. Jack Bergman hosts the Congressional App Challenge. This is an annual coding competition designed to encourage student participation in computer science and coding and an opportunity for students to compete against their peers by creating an application (app).

The competition winners are chosen by a panel of expert judges and will be featured on CongressionalAppChallenge.us. The Congressional App Challenge is open to all middle and high school students in Michigan's First District.

Congressional App Challenge winners’ apps are displayed on the Congressional App Challenge page and are also eligible to be featured in the Capitol building - a lasting reminder of the importance of inspiring students to apply their skills for the good of their community and to help technologically advance our society as a whole.
