Bergman Supports First Steps in Obamacare Repeal
Washington,
January 13, 2017
WASHINGTON – Representative Jack Bergman (MI-1) released the following statement today after voting in favor of S. Con. Res. 3, Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for FY 2017: “Americans were promised a healthcare system that would make affordable, quality healthcare available to everyone, yet people in Michigan are facing surging costs and limited choices. It’s time for us to admit that the Affordable Care Act just isn’t working for America. Passing this budget today is the first step in repealing Obamacare and replacing it with a plan that empowers individuals and healthcare providers and offers quality care to everyone in spite of health, age, or income.” |
