In 2022, Rep. Bergman voted for the bipartisan H.R. 3967, Honoring our PACT Act, which passed Congress. Rep. Bergman believes that toxic exposure is perhaps the most urgent issue facing our military community. Veterans across the Nation have been forced to jump through hoops just to get the treatment and recognition at the VA they need to survive burn pits, agent orange, and other exposures.

With agreement from over 40 Veterans Service Organizations, the PACT Act provides a comprehensive slate of care and benefits to Veterans exposed to toxic substances.

Questions may be directed to VA Public Affairs Office at 906-774-3300, ext. 32001 or 32018.
